Adsorber

1. Description: An adsorber is used to retrieve compounds in very diluted streams. It can be used in several ways including the fluidization of the adsorbent, passing of this through a steam or by passing a gas stream sent through a fixed or mobile bed within the body of the equipment which can be activated carbon, granular lime, zeolites, etc.

2 Ranges of design: owing to bed characteristics, two types are possible:

     a. Fixed bed adsorbers.

     b. Mobile bed adsorbers.

Lapsolite offers gas flow adsorption equipment from 50 m3/h up to 50,000 m3/h.

3 Applications: Many and varied applications in the removal of moisture from compressed air, in the electronic and pharmaceutical industries among others.

4. Benefits:

     a. Minimum maintenance.

     b. Low pressure drop.

     c. Elimination of: heavy metals, mercury, dioxins and furans.
